1. Scope
This journal publishes articles based on research or development relevant to policies and issues in various fields of Islamic studies such as education, law, economics, communication, and language.
2. Originality
Manuscripts must not have been published previously and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
3. Acknowledgment of Sponsorship
If the article is the result of sponsored activities, an acknowledgment section must be included, stating the name of the sponsor.
General Requirements
Language: Indonesian language in accordance with the Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI).
Format: A4 paper size, single spacing, Palatino Linotype font, 11 pt.
Length: 3,000–7,000 words.
The article should consist of six main components:
(i) Title, (ii) Author’s Name and Affiliation, (iii) Abstract and Keywords, (iv) Main Content, (v) References, (vi) Acknowledgment (if applicable).
Should reflect the content of the article in a concise, clear, and engaging manner.
It is not mandatory to begin with “research,” “study,” or “analysis.”
Maximum of 14 words (excluding subtitle).
Provided in both Indonesian and English.
Must include the author’s name, institutional affiliation, and email address. The primary author should be listed first.
Abstract:
Written in both Indonesian and English.
Length: 150–200 words.
Includes background, objectives, method, main findings, and implications.
Presented in a single paragraph without subheadings, citations, footnotes, or uncommon abbreviations.
Keywords:
Contain 3–5 significant terms, ordered from general to specific.
Can be single words or compound terms.
There are two types of manuscripts:
(a) Research Articles and (b) Development or Engineering Articles, with different structures and proportions:
Introduction (±25%)
Includes background, brief literature review, problem formulation, objectives, significance, and theoretical framework.
Research Method (±10%)
Describes approach, design, location and time, research subjects, data collection and analysis techniques.
Results and Discussion (±50%)
Presents research data and an integrated discussion of the findings.
Conclusion and Suggestions (±15%)
Conclusions should reflect the research objectives; suggestions may be practical or theoretical.
Main distinction: development leads to conceptual models, while engineering reaches field-testing.
Introduction (±25%)
Covers background, development urgency, literature and similar models, theoretical framework, and objectives.
Development Method (±10%)
Explains the approach, development stages, variables used, and success indicators.
Results and Discussion (±50%)
Describes the process and results of the development or engineering, along with their analysis.
Conclusion and Suggestions (±15%)
Conclusions reflect the success of the model; suggestions offer alternative approaches or policy options.
1. Citation Style
Use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition referencing style.
2. Number and Types of Sources
Minimum of 10 references for research-based articles, published within the last 10 years.
80% of the references should be primary sources such as scholarly journal articles, dissertations, and theses.
For historical studies, classical sources are allowed.
