At Ma'had Al-Zaytun, the Student Organization (OPMAZ) was established as an effort to enhance organizational knowledge and foster strong leadership qualities among students. This organization focuses on developing various aspects within the ministries of each cabinet. Additionally, OPMAZ plays a role in improving the students' ability to work collaboratively and effectively in teams. This study aims to analyze the role of OPMAZ in providing democratic education to students at Ma'had Al-Zaytun, based on Law Number 20 of 2003 and Fiqh Siyasah. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, emphasizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that OPMAZ has successfully adopted and implemented democratic values in decision-making through deliberative discussions. This is reflected in various programs and activities that consistently involve student participation. Furthermore, Ma'had Al-Zaytun applies the principles of deliberation, justice, leadership qualifications, and public interest, which have been integrated into various aspects of life within OPMAZ. The involvement of students and OPMAZ members in elections, deliberations, program formation, and meeting outcomes demonstrates a strong commitment to providing effective democratic education.
