This research examines the alleged propaganda and presence of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) groups in Indonesia and evaluates these issues from the perspective of Islamic law. The study adopts a library research methodology using a normative juridical approach. Primary references include Discussion on LGBT Law in Indonesia by Munadi (2017) and LGBT in Review of Fiqh by Mokhamad Rohma Rozikin (2017), while secondary sources consist of relevant books, journals, theses, legislative regulations, and other related documents. The findings reveal that legal protection for LGBT groups, as stipulated in Article 292 of the Indonesian Criminal Code, is an essential measure to combat propaganda and discrimination. However, from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence, LGBT behavior is classified as a severe moral violation that contradicts human nature and religious principles, rendering it prohibited and unlawful. This dual analysis underscores the importance of fostering awareness of human rights and sexual diversity while implementing legal measures to address discrimination. At the same time, it emphasizes adherence to Islamic ethical and moral standards. The study calls for a balanced approach that integrates legal protections with the promotion of societal values to mitigate the negative impacts of LGBT-related issues in Indonesia.
